About Surah Az-Zalzalah
Surah Az-Zalzalah (الزلزلة) is the ninety-ninth chapter of the Holy Quran. Its name means “The Earthquake.” It is a Madani Surah consisting of 8 ayahs and is contained in the thirtieth Juz of the Quran.
Surah Az-Zalzalah describes the final earthquake of the earth and the way hidden events and deeds will be brought into the open.
The Surah presents the earth itself as reporting what happened upon it by the command of Allah.
People will come forward in separate groups to be shown the results of their actions.
The Surah teaches that even an atom's weight of good will be seen and even an atom's weight of evil will be seen.
This message gives significance to actions that people may consider too small to matter.
