Hamari Dunya publishes Pakistan gold, silver, copper, fuel and currency rates, plus calculators, a prize bond checker and articles. You can reach us at [email protected].
Browsing does not need an account
The public pages do not ask you to register, sign in, or give a name, phone number or email address. Admin tools are separate and are not part of the public site.
Information you type in
Some tools only work when you enter a figure or a number:
- Search uses the words you type to find a page on this site.
- The gold, currency, zakat, tax and salary tax calculators use the amounts, weights, purity and tax year you enter so the page can show an estimate.
- The prize bond checker uses the bond number you submit to look through draw results already stored here.
Those entries are used to build the result you asked for. We do not sell them, and we do not send calculator amounts or bond numbers to the market sources that supply rates.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the server may record a technical log when a page is requested. A log can include the address of the page, the time, the browser type and an IP address. We use those logs to keep the site running, to investigate errors and to protect it from abuse.
Cookies
The site sets a session cookie so a short visit stays together and so forms can be checked against cross-site requests. That cookie is needed for the calculators and the prize bond checker to submit safely. We do not use it to build an advertising profile. A notice at the bottom of the page asks you to accept or reject. Your choice is saved in this browser, so the notice is shown once.
How long information is kept
Search text and calculator fields are part of the request that produces the page. They are not stored as a customer profile. Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and troubleshooting. Prize bond numbers you check are used for that lookup and are not added to a public list of bonds.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. A hosting or email provider may process technical data only so the site and support mail can function. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
The site is written for a general audience looking up market rates. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text will appear on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that date means the updated policy applies.
