About Surah Al-Bayyinah
Surah Al-Bayyinah (البينة) is the ninety-eighth chapter of the Holy Quran. Its name means “The Clear Proof.” It is a Madani Surah consisting of 8 ayahs and is contained in the thirtieth Juz of the Quran.
Surah Al-Bayyinah discusses the coming of clear evidence, sincere worship, prayer, charity, and the different outcomes of belief and rejection.
The Surah explains that people from earlier religious communities and idol worshippers would not leave their established ways until clear proof came to them.
That proof is connected with a messenger reciting purified scriptures containing upright teachings.
The Surah describes the core of true religion as sincere worship of Allah, establishment of prayer, and giving of Zakat.
It contrasts those who knowingly reject guidance with those who believe and perform righteous deeds.
Surah Al-Bayyinah reminds readers that receiving clear evidence creates responsibility and that sincere faith should produce practical worship and good conduct.
