Using the site
These terms apply when you open Hamari Dunya, including the gold, silver, copper, fuel and currency pages, the converters and calculators, the prize bond pages, the blog and search. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. The privacy policy explains how lookups and cookies are handled.
Rates are indicative
Figures on this site are indicative market snapshots for information only. Confirm with a licensed dealer, bank or scholar before making a financial or religious decision. Gold and silver pages convert an international US dollar price per troy ounce into PKR using the stored dollar rate. 22K, 21K and 18K gold figures are calculated from the 24K ounce price. City pages show that same PKR figure. Fuel, currency and copper pages show the snapshot stored for that market. A page can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
Calculators
The gold, currency, zakat, tax and salary tax calculators are planning estimates. They are not a dealer invoice, a zakat ruling, an FBR assessment or tax advice. Check jewellery with a licensed dealer, zakat with a scholar, and salary tax against the current rules or a tax adviser.
Prize bonds
The prize bond pages and checker search draw results stored on this site. A result here is not a live lookup on the National Savings website and is not an official prize confirmation. Confirm a winning bond with National Savings before you rely on it.
No official affiliation
Hamari Dunya is not affiliated with the State Bank of Pakistan, the Federal Board of Revenue, National Savings, a bank, or any bullion or fuel exchange. Names of those bodies are used only to describe a market or a public source.
What you may not do
- Present the site, its name or its pages as an official government, bank or exchange service.
- Copy the site design or articles and publish them as your own.
- Interfere with the site, probe it for weaknesses, or send automated traffic that degrades it for other readers.
- Use the site for fraud, including fake rate quotes or prize-bond claims.
Intellectual property
The Hamari Dunya name, page design and original articles belong to the site operator. Market figures themselves are factual information and may also appear elsewhere. You may share a link to a page. You may quote a short excerpt with a credit and a link.
Availability
Pages can be withdrawn, corrected or interrupted without notice, including when a data source fails. We do not promise that any rate, calculator or checker will be available or up to date at a particular moment.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hamari Dunya is not liable for a loss that follows from using a rate, calculator result, article or prize bond lookup. That includes a loss from a trade, a tax filing, a zakat payment or a prize claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Pakistani law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The date at the top will change. Using the site after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the courts of Pakistan.
