A figure is updated when a new market snapshot or a public announcement is stored. The card shows that time in Asia/Karachi.
Where does the data come from?
Gold and silver start from a published US dollar price per troy ounce and the stored dollar rate. Fuel, currency and copper pages show the snapshot saved for that market. Prize bond results are stored from published draws. Hamari Dunya has no partnership with the State Bank of Pakistan, FBR, National Savings, a bank, or an exchange.
Can I trust the financial information?
Use the figures to compare and plan. They are indicative snapshots, not a dealer invoice or a bank quote. Read the unit and the update time, then confirm a purchase with the seller.
Which cities are covered?
Gold, silver and prayer times are listed for Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Hyderabad, Gujranwala.
Can I use the calculators for official purposes?
No. The gold, currency, zakat and tax calculators are for planning. They are not an FBR assessment, a zakat ruling, or a jeweller's bill.
