Hijri calendar and Islamic events for June 2025

Today, Friday, 23 October 2026, is 12 Jumādá al-ūlá 1448 on the Global Hijri calendar.

The English date is the Gregorian date used in Pakistan, written as a weekday, day, month, and year. The Hijri date is the Islamic date for the calendar selected at the top of this page. Pakistan adds the official Ruet-e-Hilal moon-sighting offset for that Hijri month. Global leaves the calculated AlAdhan date unchanged. Neither choice rewrites the stored calendar.

An Islamic event is attached to a Hijri day and month, such as 1 Shawwal for Eid al-Fitr or 10 Dhul Hijjah for Eid al-Adha. When you open the Pakistan calendar, the event is shown on the English date that matches the adjusted Hijri day. On the Global calendar, the same event stays on the calculated Hijri day.

Frequently asked questions

What is today's Hijri date? ▾

Today, Friday, 23 October 2026, is 12 Jumādá al-ūlá 1448 on the Global Hijri calendar.

Which Islamic events fall in June 2025? ▾

What is the difference between the Pakistan and Global calendars? ▾

Global shows the Hijri date stored from the calculated AlAdhan calendar. Pakistan shows that same date after the active Ruet-e-Hilal offset for the Hijri month, from two days earlier to two days later. Islamic events follow the Hijri day you are viewing, so a Pakistan offset can move an event onto a different English date.

Does the Pakistan offset change the saved calendar? ▾

No. The offset is applied only while the Pakistan calendar is displayed. The stored English and Hijri dates stay as they were synced.
